As a relatively new Sans user, I recently received my first replacement filter. I was curious how much the filters would take out of the air. I live alone but with one cat. It’s winter in the north so no open windows. Is there really that much dust floating around?
Indeed there was. When I removed the filter I should have had the trash bag right there because, while it might not have seemed as bad as I imagined, it was the truly fine particles that make a person sneeze or cough or get headaches that I could see flying around before I got it into the trash. And one thing I knew from the day I got my Sans units (a regular size, and a mini for my bedroom), my breathing has improved. The air just feels cleaner — like being outside after a good rain.
